So finally i had my HID fogs installed. Yea, i ended up taking it to my auto body shop and having them do it....too lazy, and rainy....but they look awesome. Color doesn't perfectly match but you have to rest your eyeball on the lens to see the imperfection...funny cuz they seem to mismatch more in the pics than in real life...they look almost green in the pics....dunno why... Driving at night is so much better, i see the ground more, it's like having two headlights.....next i'm gonna try and put in some footwell lights. Tell me what ya think. -peace

LOL...no I haven't decided what kind I'm going to get to replace the ones I have. There's actually not much wrong with the ones I have now except the crack in the passenger side one, and the fact that it annoys me that they don't match the HID. One of these days I'll do something about it...The modding on my car would be going alot faster if I had a garage on my house here, instead of me driving back and forth to LA to use the garage at the parents house.

 

are your HIDs stock color?...you could always change the bulbs....

 

Yes my HID's are stock for now. I have the 6000K bulbs I just need to install them, but I was waiting to clear my headlights again (they were cleared when I first bought the car but I had to get both headlights replaced, one was cracked and the adjuster was broken on the other) and get new 6000K HID foglights so it would match. Right now my foglights are regular bulbs.

 

oh i see...ya know, i just realized that cleared HLs won't pass inspection....dunno if you have to do that in LA, but we do....even though mine's in 2008 and i dunno how long i'm keepin it, my car won't pass the way it is and it doesn't even have cleared HLs....but they look sweet as hell.

 

I know the person that owns a brake tag inspection here so he would give me an inspection sticker even if it wasn't legal. I've never had problems with them from cops I think NJ and NY are alot stricter about little things like those.
