Allright, stopped by today at Acura SW, picked up the '02 cupholders . 6.53 with tax. go get 'em! they rock. anyway, couple quick questions:

header, where to get cheapest?

02 Tails... cheapest? I know Vision and China want like me... can we get a bunch of guys maybe to get a group buy from dealer.. like 220 out the door? I'd get em in a heartbeat.

I have made an appt for next fri @ 9 a.m to get my rattles in my moonroof fixed. currently its at Acura SW, does anyone have any favorite dealers for service? is John Eagle better? or Acura SW? pros cons? also, the staff at SW acura seemed moderately knowledeable about performance parts.. is John Eagle more knowledeable? SW doesn't give loaner, does John Eagle or anyone else give it?

Matt: you mentioned a good car wash place... Korean family... give me the scoop on that, where its at, how much, etc etc. Thanks bro,

hey Pimp! John Eagle sux like $h!t. I went to SW forever and went to John eagle to see how it was like. I was very disappointed. First they charged me 600 for a schedule maintaince! Then gave a loan that smelled like cow dung! I went back to SW with a quickness. And SW does give loaners, cuz i got one the other day. If you go ask for Jack Chambers and tell him about me. Thata my opinion, and oh yeah pimpin show me so pix of the cup holders, I wanna see.


Oh yeah Matt tell me about the car wash place too. Mr. Bubble getting lazy on me.

oh yeh, and jack chambers is pretty tite. helped me out a lot when i was having my check engine light problem.

travis is the young looking dude if i remember correctly. Jacks older and white haired. He had me go on a test run with my car to see if the check engine light would come on again after they fixed it. He asked me to drive "faster than normal" to which I replied, my normal is faster than other's normal, haha. I think I scared him some while driving. Hes a funny guy.

 

hehe. yes Travis is the young guy. we sat and chatted for about 20 mins, he seems cool enuff. we talked about performance mods, etc. I've only had contact with him and the shaved head guy. the shaved head guy might be manager cuz his office is the biggest. he isn't that cool tho, so i'll ask for jack i guess. geez i wish they knew more about mods though, i had some other questions, like, can we fit TLS Rims perfectly on our car, etc.

 

Thats what this forums for, yo! Anyways, I remember one time I was sittin in Jack's office and Travis was trying to some work but got interupted by I guess teh secretary. He was like, "aww man, is it that lady again? This is like the 5th time shes called today. She keeps asking me these stupid questions. Next time she calls, tell her im in a meeting or something." I was laughing my ass off.

 

I dont know bout yall but Sterling McCall Acura aka Acura SW SUCKS! I will NEVER take my car there again plus their unfriendly and they charged me too dayam much for a car.

I like to go to John Eagle cuz they have always been nice to me. Actually I would choose Gillman Acura over all of them cause thats where I bought my car from and their hella nice.

As for tails Im down. I got a quote from John Eagle for $166 each without tax. I think v_i_s_i_o_n was quoted around 180? am i right? but dont know where he got that quote from. Im happy with my cupholders, I can save that $6 for my ciggys

 

Well, that someone is different from me man, i aint one of those BS guy say who can get them cheaper but cannot do it.... I just called and got a quote....

Factory price is $165 a piece, and I get a 20% discount off is $132 a piece, I try to see if i can get 25%, which will be $123.. I will let yall know tomorrow....

So, Thaieta, please don't compare me to your some other guys who say they can do but end up BSing!

Carwash place is on Richmond, its called BEST HAND WASH i think... something like that... From 59 turn on chimney rock towards galleria. Then turn left on richmond, about a block away, look on left hand side. You cant miss it, it is next to a XXX adult store.

 

When I bought my car I consider Acura SW first and they treat me like shit too. I call and email to check prices and they keep telling me shit and giving me the run around! I was so pissed that I went to buy a TL at John Eagle, didn't even negotiate the price and got a better deal than my friend who got a 2000 model. All he had diff from mine was gold emblem and mudguard...and who needs that crap anyway.

Oh and another person that might be able to help is Dragon TL. I remember last time he said he got connection on parts...but not big parts such as kits but lights and stuff. I remember he said he got some lights for cheap. Where is that dude now aday?

Hehe. Just got back from a bar with coworkers. Sherlocks in river oaks for anyone interested. i reccomend the joint. anyways, some mex dude was trying to pimp in his solara so i showed him up, represented tl well. umm.. can we say like 4 car lenghts. i dont' ususally race at all but i was buzzin hard (not safe i know). and it was just nice there on richmond in highland village. all the damn palm trees and 100k cars i had to go fast. hehe. anyways, i want those tails!! but not for 3 bills, can we get for around 2.25 bills, Edward, or Dragon?? Damn, I just came back from Baytown... Tonight's weather SUX HARD! It was around 88degree with 95% humidity... Anyway, I ran 5 times... the best time was 15.11 with 0.501 reaction time, others are 15.21, 15.34, 15.36, 15.38, and 15.50... Last time I went, I ran a 14.85 with temp at 45degree....

Webtoker(CLS guy) was there too, and his time was around 14.9-15.0... last time he went, he ran a 14.6... so I say the temp slow both of us down by 0.3sec...

I am happy with my time in this weather condition..... Hope Houston can get more cooler than this.....

So anyone going to hang out at SuperK on Westhimer tomoorrow night?
