How to take off your front bumper
Tools-Rachet/10mm socket/extension
Flat head screw driver & Phillips

1-u can either jack up ur car a little or roll on some 4x4 wood which I did, put a big blanket or something soft under ur bumper.

2. There r 6 bumper clips n 2 small clip that u use a screwdriver n jus pop it out on the top part of ur grill, pry that off wit a flat head.


3.there's 2 medium size rubber piece, just unscrew wit ur hand.



4.use a flat head to pry these metal clip just a little up, (quote) use a rag, sock, shirt while doing this so u don't mess up ur top grill!!!!


5.underneath the bumper there's 6 10mm bolts 3 on each side, n 4 bumper clips 2 on each side n 2 more in the middle.




6.go to the feneder wheel, turn ur steering left n right to get access, take off the 2 bumper clips, then after lift the fender well u will see on the top a screw, use a Phillips to unscrew it.


7. After all clips n screws are taking off, ur ready 2 remove ur bumper, have a partner help u, go to the end of fender pull out bumper u will need to use force while goin through the middle don't worry you be alrite. Then there u have it, u just remove ur front bumper.

Hope this help you folks if u have question lmk, also while u hav ur bumper taken off you can do ur headlights the bake n pop method, Sorry didn't take pic. Of taking it out but it's pretty ez, I just did the clearout headlights!

Nice DIY...I can't believe you wrote this last month and members are just commenting on it now. I've taken my bumper off at least 10 times and this is one that I keep in my subscription. Also there is a video on youtube with the similar steps.

Great write up! This along with the video made it really easy to remove my bumper to change out some of the bulbs in my headlights. Thanks for this post!

Thanks Guys, I'm glad this thread help you folks and @Donnieb83 thanks for posting the video, bcuz I had some people asking me to crop all the pix. And write everything step by step, so I told them this is all pretty much step by step, so I told them to go search on YouTube n that is the exact same video I learn to take off my bumper, I was just bored n figure I minus well do a thread since alot peeps. R questiong on how to take off bumper, change lights bulbs etc etc..
@kevinballer08 Thanks about my headlights & G/L on yours my best opinion for u when doing it is u must have alot of patients, trust me just take ur time when breaking the seal, also measure ur oven b4 throwing it in, Bcuz I came across on the web that some people headlights doesn't fit in their oven.

Big shout D-Dubz. Followed your pictures last night and had the bumper off in 30 minutes. .....and put it back without any extra bolts!!
