Post gutter grill on first genertion TL

........Ok since their are apparently more first generation owners on here than i thought. Has anyone made the gutter guard grill for their car? I have seen pics of what it looks like and it looks really nice. I tried and I made it for the lower half of my grill but not the top where the Acura emblem is. I took it off because i thought it started to look f'd-up
...... I could not figure out how to remove the upper grill without, just rippin it off. I opted not to do that, for fear I would possibly for ever deface my car.
...........So who has made one and if so any pictures? How is it holding up in the weather. I was concerned about the white build up that can build up on the grill wire.
...Does billet make a grill for our car , anyone know?

i've done the gutter guard grill thing and it looks hella nice. In order for you to take the upper grill off there are three clips and three screws. the screws are easily taken off, but the clips take a little bit of skill. use a flat head and make sure you're pushing down on the clips before you pull the grill off. obviously unscrew the screws first. Once that is off, it's fairly easy to make the grill. I started off by making two pilot holes for the acura emblem. And then i screwed the acura emblem back onto the grill. Now that the mesh is against the grill, you can use a dremel to cut the mesh so that it will fit flush in the grill. You have to be fairly precise cause on the bottom, the chrome part comes really close to the plastic grill. Remeber to cut out holes for the nobs that help line up the chrome piece and the plastic grill. I had to try it a couple times before i made the mesh turn out straight. It's really hard cause the grill is kinda curved. All you need is a steady hand and a lot of patience. took me about three tries, but good luck =)

Headlights PIAA superplasma.
REal nice and gives the Purplish HID look
perfectly with the Projector style assembly.

Corner Bumpers & Corner Bulbs next to Headlight have Polarg Hyperwhite bulbs.
That way the bottom running lights look
like semi FOGs. The turning indicator/Flashers are Amber colored for legality.

That's my setup
