The grille is attached to the hood. There should be some screws/bolts that hold it in place.

02-03's u have to take the bumper off. Take off the plastic bulk head cover, two or 4 clips under that that hold the grill in place. Next take off the front bumper and 4 clips or screws thart hold that in place. Check ebay for the mesh grill.

No shit. Mine ended up breaking the plastic the bolts were in on the grill. I had to put epoxy in the holes with new bolts.

ok so doing the gutter gaurd thing sucked. i had to use two, one ontop of the other, becuase it wasent tall enough. got a general outline and after enough cuts and it just wasent working for me, said f it. but all the ones online are 100+. so i think stock is my only option now

You dont have to overlap the gutter guard. just create one for the bottom and one for the top. Simple enough

If you dont want to do that, buy gutter guard thats taller

thats not hard at all, you can always bend the metal and cut it to fit around the tabs and all.. Bend it so when you screw the chrome pieces it will hold in place. Just be careful that you dont cut yourself.
