Gap on side of front bumper-questions about what holds it on.
I've got at least a 1/4" gap between the metal fender and the flexable bumper cover on the driver's side of the car. (like from the front wheel to the left front corner of the car. The rest of the bumper alignment looks great with no gap.
I'm assuming some clip, mounting bolt, or other device on that side is loose or broken or gone..etc.
What do I need to fix it? Something I have to order from Acura? Or is it something I can find at a parts store or improvise??
I looked on the parts diagram at AcuraAutomotiveParts, but I couldn't tell exactly what parts I needed.
Thanks

theres an 8mm bolt that also takes a phillips screw driver inside the wheel well. about 6 inches past that, towards the front, there is a clip that the bumper slides over and onto. maybe it popped off due to someone bumping your car.

Thanks, it must be off that clip, because those lower bolts shown in the link photo seem to be in place. I just wanted to make sure I didn't get the bumper off on the weekend and find out I need some parts from Acura I couldn't get until Monday...

Is the gap you are having below the headlight, by the headlight corner? The bumper is mounted on 2 metal clips that the headlight is mounted too. You can adjust the gap to whatever size you like by adjusting the metal bracket. There are 3 bolts that hold the the metal bracket and the headlight to the frame. You can slightly undo the bolts and raise the bracket to closeup the gap. You don't have to remove the bumper to raise the bracket.

My gap is totally on the side of the car. Everything in front looks great. I've already played around with the front gap & headlights.
