Driver side door frame stickers

Anyone know how to get these? The dealer parts dept. says they can't get them for me.

As you all know, I was involved in a driver side collision back in January and my baby is finally coming back in a week. The body shop says they can't get them from the dealer either. Anyone have a similar problem and were able to get these?

I'm referring to the paint code sticker, the weight sticker, and the VIN # barcode sticker on the driver side door frame when you open the driver's door.

Thanks in advance.

I don't think it's possible for them to get you a new sticker. Nor the dealer. This is put on from the factory. the color code/interior could be possible. But the VIN..i doubt it. They don't make re-prints.

Yes, they did save the old ones but I doubt they can remove them from the metal without damaging them.

i havent ever seen anyone able to get these. This is one of the things i normally check on cars to see if there was any damage to those panels. If there's not sticker, most likely it was painted over or replaced.

hey jack, long time no see/talk!

i know you can get hood stickers because they are generic, so it might be hopeless with those. you should consider calling honda and finding out...just a local call to torrance!

My shop says even with Jaguar and BMW and other makes they are able to get. BMW they say has a 6-month wait before you can get them, but you still can.

That's true!!

I was working on Z3 M roadster the other day and vinyl repair guy rip the VIN sticker on top of the dash board. I was like :wow: . (WTF have you done) I called BMW dealer right away and asked if I can order it and they said that I have to write a letter why I need to get new VIN sticker and fax that to the HQ in Germany. After about 2~3 months, it came by mail. And guess how much they charged us..............it was about $60. :wow:

I hate working with European vehicle.

I guess they're very careful ordering VIN label because of vehible idenitity.

Good idea. I will write and call Acura to provide my reason for needing these stickers.
