Do YOU have this problem? takes 2 alligators to start my car
I have noticed this ever since i got the car, it takes about 2 seconds (aka alligators) before the car finally starts. i took it to the dealer and they told me that is normal, but in my g35 it starts instantly. Also when i dont drive the car for a few days and i have to turn the key twice before it will start. Anyway, if i get a new battery like a optima will it start like my g35? (is it more powerful than stock)

Although this might not be the permanent solution you want, try turning to key to run the power through the car for about 1.5 seconds and then continue turning the key to start the engine. I did this with my previous car the last few months of having it. It wouldn't start on the first try when I'd go to start it for the third drive of the day (after it's sat for a few hours) . ....Just ran the power through it for a second (literally) before continuing turning the key and it'd start up just fine.

This doesn't sound right though, because I never ever do this on mine, and don't have problems starting it.
Although it is recommended that you wait a second before starting it, you shouldn't have to. Sounds like it could be your battery that is going.
What year, and how many miles/kilometers on the car? If you have over 100k km (60k miles) you should consider replacing the battery. Optima Red top if you are stock, yellow top if you have mods and a stereo system.

Heh - I did whatever it took to get it started. I can guarantee you that others would've freaked out and been off calling for a tow after having two unsuccessful attempts at starting the car, when all they really had to do was run the power for a sec.
P.S. My TL starts quickly with no probs at all, Ferrari527.
All the info mentioned above was from when I had a different car ('92 with high mileage).

If you have to wait a second before turning the key all the way, then I would say you have a fuel delivery problem. Leaving the key in the on position before turning it all the way will start and prime the fuel pump. If the car starts right away by doing this, but takes 2 tries if you didn't, then I would say have the check out the fuel filter and the fuel pump. It might even be dirty fuel rails, who knows?
