It's hard to tell from that picture. Can you give us a better quality pic? It seems out of focus.

Looks like he removed all the black plastic, but I dont see what is holding that emblem up. Either way IMHO I think all the exposed hardware for the hood lock cheapens the look of the car.

Question

Are we looking at a different pic??

All I see is a TL WITHOUT the front grill mesh... I don't see an emblem, or a grill.. all I see is the exposed latch for the hood..

It is a Mugen emblem, I saw Scottie's car at a TL meet recently.

Re: i hate this grill....

Scottie, the grill mod is OK. Don't worry about it. What I think you should do is to change the actual wire mesh so that it's not so see through. How about using the same wire mesh that you used for your front bumper that you meshed? That might make a difference, and won't be able to see the latch. This will make it better, and would be cheaper to do. Hope this helps. Let's meet up sometimes, we can go cruising.

actually, I think it's fine...perhaps you can double the screen and it'll look better (probably a easier fix up too)...just my $0.02.

No the grill is not missing, it is there. The camera angle is playing visual tricks.

Scottie, I agree with yee. Double up on the screen mesh (but make sure it is a little bit off centre, so that the mesh holes becomes smaller), and it should be OK. Or another option you could do is to put some kind of plastic board behind the mesh to cover up the latch. You will have to experiment and see if this looks good. Don't worry, I like your mesh!

Scottie:

How ya doin? Looking at your grill again, it does look like there's something missing in the front, and I think it shows too much of the inside of the car. Did you make the grill webbing yourself? Try putting a second layer as others have said, and see how that looks. Aside from this minor thing, your car looks good.

Scottie:

On another note, have you considered moving your license plate off the bumper, and having it lower down? This is easily done with black tie wraps, and i think shows off the car much nicer at the front. Have a close look at your license plate holder at the front and you'll figure out how to use tie wrap to tie it down on the lower bumper grill instead.
