got my sway bar kit today........how come mine r silver?? every one ive seen is black........

tried to install the back ones......i was successful but it was a pain in the a$$ so tomorrow im gonna get someone to put the front in....... hope it feels as good as everyone says it does

comptech has changed the color of their sways from black to silver

 

If I buy the comptech sawy kit what do I get?

 

Front and rear sway bars, rear bushings (you reuse the front bushings), bolts for bushings. I think they are shipping teflon tape instead of the grease they used to ship.

 

True. You wrap the tape around where the bar go through the bushing. I'm not sure how long it lasts but it squeaks if you don't.

 

Numba Let me know when you get the sways installed. I'd like to take a ride in your car before I purchase them. THanks

 

yup...my sway bars are silver too, with white decals. and they came with the teflon tape, that you should only need to wrap around the rear bar. and i forgot to do that, and it squeaked pretty badly...so i had to go thru the trouble of taking the rear bar off and wrappin the tape on. but no more squeaking since then.

 

You want your sways to be back just like mines???

Just paint them black!!
