Cell - Stereo Problem
Cell - Stereo Problem
I was reading past posts of people who have a weird buzzing sound when they have a cell phone in the car. They said if you have a cell that NOT GSM or TDMA, you will be fine.
I have a LG TM-510, and use Verizon and it's a CDMA, but I'm still getting that problem. But oddly, it only happens when I'm playing CD's, not tape or the radio.
I also tried turning off my cell while playing a CD, and the buzzing sound is still there. You think it's a different problem?
i'm not using burned CD's either.
thanks

My Nokia only interefers with the radio in my 2000 TL seconds before it is about to ring. I always know when I have a call incoming. My provider is AT&T. It did the same thing in a 97 Dodge Ram with a SONY aftermarket headunit. It did not do it with a stock headunit 99 GTP. It doesn' t seem to affect a 2000 Dodge Ram with a stock headunit. Not sure if any of this is useful, just didn't feel like working

I have a Motorola V60-G triband world phone, service provider for it is Xingular. I also have a Nokia, service provider it is VoiceStream. I used both cell phones in my car, and i am not experiencing any prblem either. So it could be that some other cell phone models cause the buzzing sounds.
I never have any interference problem using cell phones on the driver side. It is the passenger side that causes the interference. When my wife still had her Nokia PCS phone, it would always trigger off my radar detector whenever she used it beside me. Recently, she bought the new GSM Nokia one, and my radio buzz whenever she uses it.
I have a V60 with ATT. I hear the buzz noise only when the CD is playing and when its an incoming call (ringing, when I talk its fine).
There is no way to get rid of that. The dealer was right, if it bothers you so much then go get a new phone or get a Mercedes where you just plug in your V60 and the sound comes out of your speakers and you can just talk
