Brake Job

Anyone here ever pay $950 for a brake job on their 1999 TL? I called my dealership today to ask how much it'd cost for a full brake job.(all 4 rotors and pads) and they tolld me $475 front, $475 back. This sounds ridilicous. i can get all the parts for $300. What have you guys paid?

yikes!!!!

Get Rotora Slotted with EBC, and you will save a bundle AND get better brake performance in return

I hate the damn stealership!

got front and back done with some solid brake pads and retrued rotors for $300 and that includes labor at a local shop. Haven't had a problem since! There are much better deals out there, just ask your friends and family, there should be at least one person that knows of a decent brake shop! have fun!

Sounds like alot but prolly what most dealers will charge, figure OEM rotors are 125-150 a pop, and pads are 50-75. Thats 700 just in parts plus labor. Id buy aftermarket parts for cheaper and either do it yourself or bring them to a mechanic.

you can get x-drilled and slotted iRotors (f and r), stainless steel brake lines, and axxis pads (f and r) for around $400. don't pay $900 for factory stuff when you can have something twice as good for half the price
