2002 TL-S. The LCD display under the speedo (outside temp, trip meter, odometer)flashes on and off occasionally. Anyone else had this problem?

 

yea mine went out last year. cost around 180 to fix if i remeber correctly.

 

Do you know what the problem was?

 

Might be cheaper to just buy a used cluster if you don't care about not having the original one in your car. They can be had for about $150 on ebay.

 

yea, they said the LCD panel was going bad. b/c it would flicker on and off once and awhile, then it stopped working for good. SO they ordered a new one and installed it. It might have been less then $180, but for some reason that sounds right.

 

Thanks. I'm not concerned about the price because it's still under warranty. I just wanted a leg to stand on when I took it in to get it fixed.

 

i think you should just replace the leds behnid it any do it up nice
