blown tire

woke up this morning and drove for 2 blocks b4 figuring out that i have a blown tire. I am leaving town 2morow morning for 3 weeks and I really dont have the time today to get it fixed or get a new tire. Do you guys think its ok for me to just install the spare tire and let the car sit in the garage for 3 weeks before i get back?

1 more thing, 3-4 weeks would my battery be dead by the time im back?? its around 60 degrees here.

thanks in advance

Hey wasup,

There is a good chance that you will have to jumpstart your car when you return, but your battery should be alright afterwards, depending of course, on how old it is currently, and how many miles you've put on it.

Yeah, put the spare on and you'll be fine.

If you're that worried about it, why not leave it on a jack stand or some other suitable support?

If you going to leave the car sit for about a couple month, you should be fine.
But if it more than a couple of month you should get jack stand, cuz the tires might have a flat spot.
And about the battery it depend how good the condition of your battery

for THree week with out running the engine? ummm the battery will be working. and yea if you have some one at home let they start your car for 10 minute every week that your gone, that is a good tip you know, keep the car engine lub up and fuel dont go bad too. and if your car blow the front tire and you planet to drive it! not a verry good good idea, you can kill your tranny if you run with spare.
