Question Any problems with install of Tein SS w/ EDFC

I just ordered the Tein SS w/ EDFC. I read the instructions and they always seem straight forward. Does anybody have helpful tips on the install? Where did any of you install the EDFC control unit? I Could use advice.
I also ordered CT Icebox. Oh what fun! The only other thing I've done so far is install a set of CT sway's. Big difference that was.

Thanks for any advice you may have.

I installed my box in the glove compartment. I do not change it very much. Only when I'm going on a long drive down the highway or if I have people in the back. I love it because now I don't have to remove the back seat to adjust the damping rates.

TLaskin, how do you like them? I'll have my coilovers installed in the spring, right now I'm shopping for the EDFC. What's your take on them? and how long have you had them for?

Post instal EDFC?

I think this is a stupid question but wanted to double check:

I have the TEIN Basic Adjustable (you can adjust height but not dampening). Can you add EDFC after the fact? (I realize it would only be able to adjust height)

Just curious.

In terns of price I got mine $750 shipped, but from what I've seen since, that's on the high side.

Thanks,

Joe

the edfc only adjusts the damper, not the height
nothing in the tein coilover line or most other companies for that matter have an electronic system to raise and lower hieght on their coilovers,
you have to adjust height manually on any coilover system, hope that helps.

You can not install the EDFC on the BASIC, only the SS's. I got my Tein SS's for $700 shipped and I'll be getting the EDFC from this site. I won't have them installed until the spring.
Heard great things with these coilovers though! Can't wait. On another note, after I get the coilovers should I still get the swaybars? or will I not need it?

To Skemems

I got my Tein SS w/EDFC from Apex Motorsports for $879 (coilovers) $349 (EDFC). Here is their website:
http://www.apexr1.com

It takes a few days for them to get the parts. They are special order. Then a few more for them to send out. I've been waiting over the holiday's for mine. All this time off and nothing to install.

I paid $1340 for everything (Tein SS, EDFC, installation, tax) from Garage Kwai in Chicago. I'm still waiting for the parts to come in.
