hey man, what about doin a rear wheel conversion after this, then ur TL would be like GOD to the rest of us, actually, it already basically is god, but think about the the RWD or the AWD conversion, but it is a good chunk of money, good luck on finishing up tho, ur almost there, =)

Don't believe that's even possible with a transverse mounted engine.

It would be possible, you would just need to have a RWD tranny bell housing modified to fit the J32 block, Pluss the center tunnel and rear axle

Due to the unforseen sensors i had to buy :whymee: 5k shold be the out the door price. Those with type-s's will have it easier and cheaper. Those with good wiring skills could probably get away with it cheaper too. If i had more time i would have searched for more used parts to cut the price down also.

Considering i have a TL-S, what do you think the cost would be? 3~4k?

yes if you were to do all the work yourself. It really isnt that hard a project. Just a very large one.

I'm still in awe that you undertook this project on your own. I'm very excited to see the results...and excitement usually doesn't fit into my personality.

Dang very nice. Didn't read all 19 pages but is this an alternative to having the bad auto-tranny recall? So if my tranny goes this could be an option since I have a TL-S.

Man that's along time, it will be well worth it though. man not to be an asshole or try and jinx you but it would be funny if drive the car hard and this tranny breaks. I know I would after my car being down for 2 months! But goodluck with the final stages!
