RL asks for PIN every time I "go home"

I've just moved to Reno (from San Jose) and don't know the roads yet. I've programmed my new address into the RL so it's set as "home." I'm using "go home" rather a lot.

Every time I say "go home", the nav system wants me to enter my PIN. It's happy to lead me home afterwards. But EVERY TIME.

What's up with that?

Moved to navi subforum.

It is probably because in the settings you have a pin selected. I would remove the pin for a couple weeks while you get used to the car. I always kept it enabled in case somebody stole my car, then they wouldn't have an easy way to my house to steal more.

I guess if they stole your keys that would be a concern. Otherwise the risk isn't any greater than any other day that they'd break into your house. I leave a copy of Combat Handguns in my car so that any bastard that steals it knows better than to come visit my home

I think I'll delete the PIN as suggested. Maybe I can leave my Gunsite Raven student certificate on the seat...

I was just wondering...
Can you set your home address to nearest cross section or block away?
Even if your car gets stolen, it would be hard to find your actual house when you set it like that.
