Press CH+/- while playing CD and CD changes

If you press and hold the CH+/- button while listening to a CD, the CD will change to either the next or previous disk.

No more long reach to the console to change CDs

Apologies if this has been posted already. There's always something new to find.

Yeah found that by accident last month, but figured everyone knew that.

Also in XM modes it will increment your XM up or down 1 channel. VERY handy.

I think this only works on the 2006 model; it doesn't seem to work on my 2005 RL (or at least the XM channel feature doesn't--I haven't tried the CD changing feature).

Thanks for the tip on the XM channel change. It works in my 06 RL.

Does anyone know a quick way to get to the "Sound" screen to adjust the Bass/Treble settings? Using the buttons, you have to press "audio", then down on the joystick, then dial right, then press the joystick. That's 4 steps. Is there a faster way?

rob144, You can press the talk button and say "Sound".
It will take you to that screen.
Also, if you press and hold the Ch+/Ch- on an MP3 cd, it will jump to the next folder.
So if you have one cd per folder, it will jump to the next "cd".
Pretty kool.
Now I am hoping the new nav ver 4.55 will show the folder on the nav screen.
Also, have you guys seen that the 2007 TL will show album, artist, etc on the upper display?
Can anyone get that to work on our 2006s?

The SOUND verbal command only seems to be recognized if you're already in the audio screen and have pressed the Enter key DOWN once. It would be great if there was a faster way to get there.

After I press the Enter key to get around the nag screen, all I have to say is "audio screen"
and then at the audio screen say " Sound". So it takes 3 steps to get there.
Trying to get it down to two.

I tried combining commands by saying "audio screen sound screen", and "audio sound screen", neither of which worked.

If I say "sound screen", I get the Setup Screen.

I still feel a little silly talking to my car like this, except for the "find nearest whatever" command. That's a good one!

This doesn't work in the 2005 RL's. Some of the voice commands that work in the 2006's don't work in the 2005's.
