Can I use these bulbs to replace OEM fog lights?

Hey guys, I am looking to upgrade my OEM fog lights (yellow-ish color) to a more white-ish color, to match my 4200K HIDs.

My question is, will these work?:

Amazon.com: Sylvania H11 SZ SilverStar zXe High Performance Halogen Headlight Bulb, (Pack of 2): Automotive Amazon.com: Sylvania H11 SZ SilverStar zXe High Performance Halogen Headlight Bulb, (Pack of 2): Automotive

Thank you

They will work for a year. Then they won't.

Well, considering I would want bulbs that last more than a year, would you mind showing me some that last a bit longer?

The problem you are going to run into is that lumens and longevity are inversely related, and the "white" bulbs always boast more lumens. Somehow, OSRAM has found a way with their "Night breakers +" to claim 90% more light, 20% whiter light, and near OEM lifetime. I have them in my Tundra and my wife's CR-V and are very pleased with them. Out of the box, you will notice little difference over a quality OEM bulb. However, once they are burned in (probably 20 hours or so), they are noticeably brighter and whiter.

Not my picture, but here's an idea of what to expect.

For $40/pair, they are a top quality Halogen bulb. You can find whiter and brighter bulbs on the market, like possibly the ones you linked, but their lifespan is going to be crap. The comments in your link illustrated that as will Sylvania's website.

Is there a link to the OSRAM Night Breakers?

Also, to make my fog lights HID, don't I need a converter? I would rather just buy a bulb that looks white rather than go through the hassle of installing new pieces.

Like what is the difference, other than price:

HID do require a ballast, and the entire setup would cost $100 more.

The only difference in those links is the vendor and their customer service. I am a bit surprised at those prices though as the H4 bulbs (not compatible) are $40/pair.
