I will open a case with the dealer and reclaim the entire amount of money. I will also try applying voltage to pin 12 multiple times and see if it works. The dealer keeps telling me to wait all the time. In the end, nothing comes out of it.

Good luck with AliExpress...I had to pitch a royal fit with them to get them to finally acknowledge that the seller owed me something. Now they're having the seller promise me the same thing they've been promising for two months now...to get the harness, new screen and the update to Android 12. Nobody's sid anything bout the fact that they expect me to remove and replace the screen in the plastic frame on my own...last i checked that usually voids warranties and that the reason i paid them more than 600 bucks for this was to NOT HAVE TO REINVENT THE FREAKING WHEEL....

Suppose I will update here for those following...

AliExpress is promising the seller will come through with the parts...im about 50/50 on that expectation and I've decided to look into what I can do to fix this if they don't deliver on their end.

I have a decent frame to work with at least and the system at least has Android 10 so I know it's at least capable of that. I can likely replace the digitizer on the head unit to get that to work if I can find a part number, or root a tablet of matching size and install something more powerful, like Android Automotive, not to be confused with Android auto. Honestly, I just need a basic android head unit rom, because I'm already thinking of dividing functions with the top unit.

Will need interfacing software for the climate controls, not to use, but rather to monitor. Xda forums has already recommended a few that use ECU data via OBD2 to integrate with climate controls...

Thankfully there are hard switches for climate controls on this car, and I really only need the temp displays and system status displays back. Since I upgraded to 2010 climate control switches in the process, I don't need the nav screen for fan controls and they work fine by hard switches.

My F150 got totaled by a guy who hit it while it was parked in front of my house. Fortunately I was able to snatch the Eonon Double Din Android Head unit out of it, which looks almost to be a perfect fit for the nav screen. Might run the climate control app on that until I can get the Zwnav unit up and running.
I'll likely hardwire an OBD2 dongle to the lower unit via USB to use torque pro while it's running and split screen that with the radio/Spotify. With those on bottom and nav/backup cam on the top unit it should be a good seamless setup.

That only leaves the top display as currently nonfunctional. I need to look through the factory manual a little more and maybe try to see how it pulls data from the factory head unit. If anything, maybe I can talk an egghead on xda into helping me develop a scraper app that ports that info to that display. It shouldn't be that difficult to decompile and sort code from 2005 to get the right info to the right place. I suspect the empty harness is likely where all that interfaces, and so I might have to cannibalize the stock head unit a little to integrate the upper displays.

If the top display can recognize the difference between radio and xm, as well as pulling data from the cars temp sensors, I'm sure that information can be ported and mirrored through the much more modern android system.

Basically, unless zwnav pulls a miracle from where the sun doesn't shine, I need to crack the manual and start learning the ins and outs of the stock system so I can emulate the output signal routing via Android. Gonna take more than a few phone calls to the manufacturers of the components involved and hopefully a few of their manuals via PDF...

Btw, my sound works now after hooking up the trigger wire for the amp to switched power...unfortunately the only way I could tell was having to listen to that creepy Chinese music video they installed on it, lol...

I installed this radio about a year and a half ago to like 2 years ago it was a a nightmare so I wire up a aftermarket amp to it And you still 09-up RL climate control so I can have my AC working just fine so my question is do you have a video of it working? And pictures of the wiring you did to turn on the factory amp?

I looked into that and it doesn't include the steering wheel harness and yes it was extra
