Question windshield trim loose

Today I noticed that the windshield trim on the driver's side is loose. During the drive, it apparently popped up slightly. I can easily push it back down but it's obvious that it's not tight. I can easily pull it back up a bit. How can this be secured down?

Just dealt with this issue. I attempted to put double sided tape on it in different spots numerous times but it always popped up again. I ended up going to a local auto glass/windshield shop and they glued it down for free in about 10 seconds, haven't had any issues since. I would give that a shot.

Use a few small dabs of black rubber trim adhesive and it will not move but can be cut out if needed later. Probably when the auto body shop used.

I used Gorilla glue on mine and that seems to hold. If it pops again, I'll resort to my good old friend JB Weld.

Thanks for the tips everyone. For now, I've pushed it back down and just used my hand and "banged" it down. If it pops up again, but the rubber trim adhesive sounds like a good solution.
