Where's The Transmission Drain Plug?
I've read the posts on this but havent found a clear answer. I have an 05 RL. One of the posts said to remove the 3 clips holding up the plastic shroud under the car to find the drain plug. I see what looks like a drain plug under the drivers side front of the car, but didnt have to remove the plastic shroud to see it. It points directly down - nothing between it and the ground. A 3/8 inch ratchet (no socket necessary) fits. Is that it? If not, I could use a clear description (or better, a picture) to find it. It looks relatively easy to FILL it via the dipstick. Thanks.

Nevermind - I found it (I hope). I did have to remove the plastic shroud, and saw it on the inside (facing the center of the car). Was relatively easy to do. Held the drain bucket right under the draining fluid for a minute or so - seemed the easiest way to avoid getting the shroud full of oil, and then just added it through the dipstick (used a long funnel).
