when Im in first gear and try to merge into traffic I step on it about 70-80% throttle and at first it revs up like its gonna go and then what feels like to me is skips a gear and goes into 3rd gear instead of second and accelerates hella slow.
like it will jump at first and feels like its in the right gear and about to go but then It feels like it switches to next gear for some reason
I don't know if it does but that's what it feels like
its kinda dangerous because it doesn't accelerate fast at all and I almost got rearended few times already because of that.

it happens randomly not every time

I donno if theres a tps adjustment on this car or something wrong with transmission solenoids or whatever

 

It could possibly be the transmission solenoid. Not to sure but could be something to look at as well.

 

I bought 2 low mileage solenoids( 5000 miles on both of them almost new) and they made the car even worse so I put the original ones back in

they were new
5000 miles on both of them from a running car.
they fied the bump issues on his car but when I put them on mine the shifts were so harsh that it was ripping the engine out it was like dropping clutch all the time

 

at first the car was shifting fine. but then gradually started getting worse
is there a chance it would skip a gear for any reason when trying to accelerate?
maybe bad tps sensor or something?
