RL and ZDX made the top ten
Both the RL and the ZDX made the top ten of the worst selling cars in the first half of 2011 according to Automobile magazine.
I think that the RL should have had the HDD system implemented for the MMC. Otherwise it's a great buy.
The ZDX is a curious contender that appears to be a solution to a non-existant problem.

Honda had 5 of the top 10. RL, TSX Wagon, ZDX, Ridgeline and Civic Hybrid. If any manufacturer needs a shakeup right now...

One thing people forget as they keep saying that Acura is falling off the map is that they made a conscious decision to hold back R&D on the next latest and greatest car when the economy tanked. While other car manufactures are getting bailed out and laying off droves of workers, Acura decided to ride the wave they had already built up through the turmoil. Almost everyone here either loves or loved Acura for a very good reason. They were leading the game as far as a technology/value/luxury mix up until only recently. Yes, that wave is pretty flat now and running up on shore, but I have no doubt that the next one will come sweep us away again. I don't think they have lost sight, more than they have made a reasonably sound business move.

Main reason current RL doesn't sell....UGLY front end.
Other reason...people want BMWs and MBs, Acura has no cache' to them.
Reason ZDX doesn't sell...no idea, except maybe a bit overpriced.
If it were $10000 less I'd buy one.

Just 2.5 years ago I had 3 Acura(RL, RDX and TL), now I am down to 1 RL and also selling it for my 3rd BMW....
Unless Honda brings back the performance and style again, otherwise I am very unlikely buying another Honda anytime soon, unless I decide to have 3rd kid then have to go for a minivan...

Crosstour doesn't have the features ZDX has, specifically SH-AWD, 300HP, and the Crosstour styling is a bit bland.
The MSNBC article is abit skewed. They have the TSX Wagon listed. If you consider that Acura made only a handful to sell and given the earthquake in Japan, I'd give Acura a pass on that model.

well, it's an MDX with a different design and nobody here says MDX ain't worth 50k. The only difference is the design and thus interior space.
^^^
Just by looking on Acura site or internet, I originally thought like that...
But when I saw the real thing in front of my own eyes, I'm sold:
The funky exterior design, cool interior, the way it drives (most you guys know that already ;-) and a super-super-great deal, I just pulled the trigger.
On the plus side, I haven't seen one 95% of the time, making me feel special ;-)
Unlike Lexi RX or GX.
Everytime I got in my ZDX, I just uttered: This car is... Awesome!
But that's just me... ;-p

and thus, it is relevant.

I would consider buying a ZDX, I would not buy an MDX.
Again, this is about the ZDX and RL not selling...no one wants to talk about the MDX. It's a great vehicle, but it's BORING.
it's all subjective and not the point.
The reason I even brought the MDX up is to show that the underpinnings of ZDX have nothing to do with it's lack of cars popularity.
It's still a great car, but not popular. It's worth the money because the hardware is all there, just like the MDX, but the marketing, the design, that's different.
Either way...I'm done on the topic, go buy a Hyundai.

Oh and since you're done, with no significant contribution...don't let the door hit you in the, well, you know.
Pass the Dutchie on the left hand side
It a gonna burn, give me music make me jump and prance
It a go done, give me the music make me rock in the dance"

Seriously, have you actually seen a ZDX in person? It's actually pretty striking. It simply doesn't photograph well at all.
To each, his own....

The ZDX and RL are interesting paradoxs ...
One could say the ZDX is ugly and over priced for a 2 person SUV and
the RL is classic styled but underpowered and underpriced for a BMW MB contendor.
It is also interesting that cars get more attention in the front and girls get more attention with there rears ... another paradox.

The RL doesn't pose well either.
