I was just on the acura site when the RL link disappeared, and the TL moved in it's place. all the model tags shifted to the left. The current 2013 models are shown now.

RLX in it's place, or just no 2013 RL?

 

No RLX, only current 2013 models, the tweaked and last 2013 ZDX is there with the new buyer friendly grill, and only 1 trim level now for $50k.

Wow, ca. not as friendly a site, have to put in zip code to get into the RL stuff. only one trim RL too? the elite?

 

But, I'm guessing the RLX will be showing up on the websites soon.

 

Maybe they are going for the dramatics.

 

They only ever list current cars for sale in showrooms on the main page.
The RLX is not currently for sale, it's a 'futuristic' car.

 

I wonder if they did the same thing with the CL when they knew it was being discontinued and not replaced with a new model.

i think it's in 2008, they split the RL in two packages : premium and elite to try to get more sales by lowering the RL's entry price, but it didn't work, so they stopped selling the premium grade (from previous 05-07 models, the premium had deleted ventilated front seats, rearview camera and some other stuff i don't remember)

 

Can't remember on the CL. I think 2002 CL was a short year, and the 2003 CL came out early to catch those last gotta get it now or never buyers. I assume when the 2004 Acuras went up, the 2003 CL came down. Still loving mine but...

Since there is no 2013 model, the RL was removed, The 2013 USA Acuras are all up now.

 

At the dealer i worked at, they still have in stock the 8th RL produced for canada for 2012.

 

Goodbye RL! I guess it is officially not for sale anymore in the U.S.

RLX will replace the RL tab on the Acura web site next spring when the FWD version goes on sale, I suppose. May the RLX receive more Acura love than the RL did.

A few thought there would at least be a 2013 RL.

 

The TL sells more than the RL so i'm guessing they pulled the plug on the RL
