Is it just me?

Is it just me?
Today I left work and I pressed the fan button to turn on the fan speed and it was for the first time actually off. I dont know how it went off but anytime I have pressed the button to change the fan speed, there was always one block blue. I cant turn it completely off. Is it just me or am I missing something?

I don't understand your question. The "off" button turns everything off.
Do you have the MMC controls?

MMC = mid-model change, later year cars got different controls for the HVAC
You are hearing the beep when you grab the handle or open the door?
Because the handle sensors cause the beep

Two points?!?
So the car beeps when you press the fob and when you open the door?

When I press the lock once on the fob its silent, if I press again it beeps once. If I press unlock once, silent, if I press it twice its still silent. If I then grab the handle, its silent but if I pull and open the door it beeps twice.

It has to be something in the lock settings. Use the MID (multi information display in the instrument cluster) to change the keyless access settings.
BYW, a low fob battery is indicated by a yellow message on the MID saying so.

that is exactly how mine acts... my only question is, when you are pulling the handle to open the door is the car locked or unlocked?
If its locked then its beeping because you grabbed the handle.

Yeah, that's my plan to upgrade to the MMC control but it's so damn hard to find a wrecked MMC since they're so rare.
Also, mine RL does the same things. It only beeps when I lock/unlock the car by grabbing the door handle. Pressing the button on the keyfob makes no sound.

I unlock the door with the Key fob. I grab the door handle and open. Then it beeps twice. The beeps come after the door is open and my hand has long been off the door handle. I'll try to record it on video. Let me figure out what pair of shoes I'll do it in this time...
