Honda Legend (2005 RL) Conversion

I really want to get the Legend name badge and the accompanying name badges. I just think that it looks great. Has anyone done this already?

I'm obviously missing something with this "Legend" badging stuff.

Can someone help explain why people are considering this.

Why are people wanting to swap badging?
Is it that they had a great experience with their previous Legend?
Is it that the badges look better?
... I can hardly believe that badges make any significant difference

Thanks

Pete

They dont make a difference. It was just an idea he threw out there. I won't be changing the badging of mine - but if he wants to, go for it

I just really thought that the Legend was a great all around vehicle. I mean, it is still one of the more pretigious brand names for Honda esp. in Japan. I think that the name RL doesn't allude to anything sporty or luxury but rather to just "old."

If you look at Japan's Honda site, the tagging, the grill and just the entire car looks right. It's the way it's suppose to look like. But that's just my preference. I guess it really depends.

yeah be different from the rest of the crowd. Changing the badges is a cheap way to do it. I'm actually trying to get the actual legend (euro version) and bring it to the states. the car doesn't come out until september so I don't have much info on it. The euro legend should be very similar to the jdm legend, so I'm guessing,

Auto winshield wipers (infrared sensor)
electronic open/close trunk
no speed limiter
gauge display with KPH in big and MPH small or none.
Clear headlights (no orange reflector, but clear instead)
Cooling seats
Navigation system with hard drive
Back-up camera
etc

Do you expect the Navigation unit to work in Deutschland?

Not just in Germany, but Europe. Is Global Positioning System not US positioning system.

The Navi system in Japan is different from the US, it has a HD + DVD, so I'm guessing Europe will get the JDM version.
