a test drive review on the 2009 rl yet? if not, will someone let rl owners know when? thanks

In all seriousness, no there has not been any yet but I am sure some will show up soon.

 

I hate to say it, but your frequent posts asking the same question strike me as being like the "are we there yet" questions my two-year-old will be asking in another couple of years.

Believe me, as soon as I find a published road test, someone here will post it. They won't exist for another few weeks yet, though.

answer. thank you for it. i am sorry if i keep asking. sometime this community appears made up of friends, and outsiders are not welcome. I am a rl owner any question should be welcome and every attempt to answer it. if you direct me to another Acura RL site i will gladly get my question answered there. sorry.

 

Sorry if you think I'm being rude. I'm really not. You simply have started several threads asking the same thing, and the answer is the same--"not until June".....and that's assuming Acura hasn't changed its plans for the 2009 RL.

Believe me, we are as much in the dark as you are about the new RL, and when the press embargo is over, we'll start to see articles. Acura is generally VERY close to the vest about releases.

 

The new RL was released officially today. Should be a couple of weeks before they can be seen in your local dealership. Then we can scare the salesmen (or women) with a rip-snorting test drive down the street, testing the limits of the rear-bias, now engaging in 1st gear SH-AWD while checking for traffic rerouting on the new NAV.

 

With the release, the press embargo should finally be over. I'm Googling for reviews already.....

 

Should handle very close to the A-Spec RL, due to stiffer springs and larger sway bars. I expect not much of an acceleration difference, numbers are too small for a 4000 pound car.
I will drive it as soon as they come in.
