Body color grille?
I'm no pro and just used Windows Paint but I'd like to try and make my grill look like one of these. I'm thinking I can paint it but the problem will be where each horizontal "slat" connects to the vertical end of the grill. Not sure what to do about that.
Which, if any, do you all like?
Out of the three I would choose the first one. But I have a black RL and what bothers me the most are the grill molding and the hood molding - the chrome parts, not the grill itself. I am thinking to paint just them and they are cheaper and easier to replace than the whole grill.

The bottom one looks way too Mazda6.

I toyed with the idea for a while since I really didn't like all that chrome on blue. I did some work with a paint program trying to check match shading but abandon it all and don't know where the pictures are.
The cost wasn't too much, just buying the 3 pieces (upper and lower chrome 'lips' and the grill) and take them to your favorite body shop to either color match or change the grill. I remember my favorite combo was to paint the upper and lower to match the blue and then paint the grill the Acura Carbon Grey with the "A" staying bright chrome (or repainting it Blue depending on what my mood was).
With parts, labor and paint, my body shop friend said about $500 which isn't bad for a totally custom front end.
Anyway, it seemed relatively easy since parts could be painted off the car and then assembled.

Rather than painting the grille, I would prefer to switch to a Honda Legend-type grille with the Acura logo. That would bring it more in line with the other two current acura sedans and is a much cleaner look.
