So I left my car in the garage for about a month while I was traveling, I came back and the car was dead. So I decided it was time to change the AC Delco battery (not the first time the car had to be jumped this year)-- so after getting a jump I drove to autozone and I bought a Duralast battery size 24 with 700CCA's-- install it, can't start it...hmmm...put the old AC Delco (630CCA) and it starts fine. Okay...I take the EverStartMaxx from my truck-- and put it into the RL-- can't start it...the dash lights up, but wont turn. Put the old AC Delco back in, start fine. I am confused
For those who have changed their batteries-- what is your new battery and is there some circuit that prevents a higher CCA battery from working in the RL? why wouldn't these new batteries crank the car, but the OLD ACDelco do it?
any thoughts pr stories would be most appreciated because I don't know what to do at this point...Diehard?

that seems really odd. I replaced mine with no problem.
Also, the batteries are covered under warranty - at least they were for some years.

 

I bought the car used so the warranty for the car is not transferable...yes it is so odd. I have done it with 3 other batteries and only the old AC Delco worked...but when I put those other batteries into another car it works...strange...
