About to close on a couple options

About to close on a couple options

2006 RL - Black/Tan 40K miles $24k Certified
2006 RL - CGP/Black 54K miles $21.5K No Certification

Both are clean, it's just a matter of if I need that certification, and if 2.5K is worth the cert and a 14K mil difference.

I'm happy with both colors.

Btw. Do all 06 RL's come with an ipod link?

No ipod link here either You must be looking at late year models.

Less miles and Certified too, that's got to be worth a few more dollars

$2500 = 14k less mileage + CPO 12month / 12k mileage (2 repair under the CPO warrenty will pay for the cost of the CPO)

Go for the certified one. You still have factory warranty of 10K miles, plus an additional 12K for 62K total. You also have the choice to buy an Acuracare warranty to extend to 100K or 120K miles.

The other car is already out of warranty at 52K, or almost out, if it is included in the Honda odometer class action suit...

On the non-cert. Open all of the doors, trunk, and hood to look for matching VIN bar codes. If not it's been wrecked.

As far as I'm concerned, it's an easy choice -- spend the extra cash and get a certified car. Down the road when you are up in mileage you'll be very thankful. The RL is a very reliable vehicle, but the parts on these cars are not cheap when you start getting up there in mileage.

Don't waste your time inspecting the non-CPO.
If you can afford the extra $2500 now, buy it. Be sure all the recall/TSB services have been performed.
Because the CPO has <50k miles also consider and Acura extended warranty, another ~$1000 but worth the investment

I think his first option with 40K miles is already certified. So yeah I would also go with RL option #1.

Black on tan man? Maybe Blk/Blk but not that... Nah, get CGP/Blk! Prob only need half the money you save for repairs, if that....
