I just received my disc yesterday and installed it today.

Wow! Now my neighborhood is actually on the map!

I previously had my Navi "Home" address programmed to locate the neighborhood 1 block away since my street was never found. It appears that they have added me on the latest disc! Hooray!

Call them up. Tell them you got a notice about the deal. They will then honor the discounted price.

They are all exactly right. Man these things are flying out the door. This is a more realistic price. They have to know this. They should keep at this price. They are making way more money on these discs the last 2-3mo than the whole year i bet.

You can update 4.13b to 4.63 or 4.64 if you do a little seaching on the web. From there, the new version will upgrade just fine. I would get your hands on the new version at the $99 price asap, then track down the upgrade later. You could also probably go to a local dealer and ask for help. They might have a car on the lot that has a later version that you can "borrow" for a few minutes. Depends on the dealer.

So I waited until Thursday to call, just never got around to it before that. When I called they looked up my account and said that I was eligible for the free shipping and not for the $99 deal. After telling her that I received the deal in the mail, she insisted I clicked on a wrong link, they never offered me the "good" deal. She then put me on hold for a few minutes, came back and said they would honor the deal plus shipping. I agreed and should receive the cd on Monday. This is the first time I have updated my 06 RL navi, that's not bad.

I called in today for my Pilot. $99 is still active today if you are in the system as having received a flyer. It takes them a little time to find it, but it is worth the effort.

I will close the thread at 6 PM EST when their facility closes.

I got $99 + shipping. This is a great deal. Maybe my daughter will stop asking why our house isn't on the map! I keep telling her that we're just out of this world, but her 4 year old sensibilities are about to catch on to that one.

I called today for my 2005 Acura RL. Rep said that my promotion was $185. I advised her that I had a mailer (I did but I couldn't find it) with a $99 special. She said that she would ask her manager; she placed me on hold and returned and said she can honor the $99 special price if I purchase today. I purchased right then. It cam to about $114. She said that I would get two disks for the upgrade for the 2005 RL. THANK YOU FORUM!!

Its for my 2005 RL. Per their website: "This package contains two DVDs; one DVD software update and one white DVD disc with map coverage for the 48 Contiguous United States, Hawaii and the Canadian border region."

You cant copy these disks. They are copy written. If you call and they wont honor the price, the best thing you can do is wait to see if members sell their 2010 disks. Thats still 5 year newer disc than what you are currently on which will still make a big difference and add a LOT of cities that now have XM-Traffic service.

4.6x discs are not copy protected, I've made backups and used them until I jumped to 2010. Which reminds me to sell the original

or sell the 2010 since it's not doing a whole lot for me...decisions decisions.

Desmond, I think he means that he wants to borrow a newer version to upload prior to loading the 2011 disc. That's what a few of us with '05s have done.
