2006 RL - Replace OEM bumper cover (preferable painted)

So today, I was on my way home, cruising along, when the car in front of me quickly swerved out of the way of what was a large stone in the road. I tried to follow suit, but couldn't get around it in time due to oncoming traffic.

The stone wedged itself under the bumper and put a nice crack in bottom right side of the bumper cover...goes right thru the fiber glass. FML!

I have put in a claim with my insurance company, but was wondering if it would be easier, maybe cheaper, and not have to put in a hit with insurance to get this fixed.

Anyone know where I can find, or have for sale, a 2006 RL Bumper Cover in Carbon Grey?

Or should I just go thru the body shop and hope they can fix it for a few hundo instead of replacing it?

I'm interested in comments too. Couple weeks ago I punched a hole in the left lower front bumper/fiberglass.
High deductible on my insurance, and don't want a carfax entry, so I'll be shopping body shops next week.
Looks fixable by myself based on the instructions on bumper removal and the fact that it is so low on the front, its really not visible unless you are looking, does not require a perfect job. But I hear the many odd clips are a trick to deal with.

Buy a front lip for $435 and cover it. It will look better anyway.

The front bumper cover is $326. Why not order the cover, have it painted and install yourself? Likely you have a $500 deductible anyway. Likely you have some degree of road rash on the existing bumper, plush now a tear. This way you get a new OEM part and a fresh painted finish.

Part # 04711-SJA-A90ZZ

I don't have the lip although I wish I did. This is what it will look like on a CGP minus the fog lights sort of. This is Carbon Legend's car and he modded the fogs. Yours would look like this but with your current fog light glass.

Also if you do use the oemacuraparts website for your lip or anything for that matter, please use promo code GALAGA, and save yourself 50% off shipping! I managed to save 25$ when I ordered my Lip, and also saved a few dollars on the 09 rear sway bar last week! Every bit helps for me anyway! Good luck!

Good info here. LOL at the A-Spec recommendation, but it will look good for not much more money.

That's an easy fix, don't get another bumper, then you risk a bad color match, at least you can blend it out on the bottom there.

Thats like a $260 fix.
