A-Spec definitely makes the RL looks sportier, no contest.

It is interesting that my “sport” (pre-typeS) 6MT TL has a softer ride than our 2009 RL. Probably because I am running H-rated tires on the TL (I don’t drive anywhere near the maximum speed for the H-rated tires).

If the RL was my daily driver I would seriously consider getting coilovers to soften the ride – but it is not my car and my wife has indicated that the ride is OK for her.

I’ll just wait and replace my TL with a ZDX Advance in a few years.

the coils are electronically adjustable so it's just a matter of turning the knob. There are 16 settings from uber soft to um...spine crunching.

I have a 2007 RL with 125,000 trouble free miles but am looking at a used 09RL. What kind of gas mileage do you get? I get approx. 28 highway and 22 combined.
