Looking good! That we are so close to release almost makes me with I'd kept my RL.

Not trying to hijack this thread or anything, but I emailed RV6 Performance since they are also into doing J-pipe modifications for Hondas, just for more options, and it seems like they are working on one for the RL too.

oops, weird how I copy and paste the original link, it shows up funny on here. The "r-v6" of the link automatically becomes "r-" for some reason..I guess the only way is to just search for "r-v6 performance" on google.

These are some quick clips of what we are working with. The first video is the first revision with true dual setup all the way back. The second has an H-Pipe integrated and helps a lot with the resonance that you hear when dropping back to idle and when punching the gas (you even hear this a little with the stock exhaust). We are still working on that. The sound seems to come from the stock mufflers I guess getting stronger pulses of exhaust then they were designed for.

The really good thing is that the power feels way smoother from around 2000 rpms all the way up to 6500. The low end torque has improved way more with the H-Pipe installed and I don't feel like it lost any high end. The little noise that we are dealing with is really the only thing holding this back but we haven't given up!

Another quick update after around 100 miles. On the freeway at 80mph there is no drone and its bearly louder then stock. Step on it and it has a nice throaty sound with a good increase in power all the way to the redline

Mike came by yesterday and we drove the car around so he could get a feel for it. We have decided that the sound is just about right. We will try one more thing to get rid of that tiny flutter noise that happens if you rev it in neutral, but you never hear it normally so i'm not sure how big of a deal it is anyway. It sounds sporty but not loud so in my opinion it really adds to the character of the car without taking away the luxury. The power is still awesome and mike is trying to set a date for Saturday the 11th to get the baseline dyno done. Once thats done the final design goes back on and we do another run. I will defiantly take dyno vids so you guys can hear it and have an idea of what its like under load.

Ooh got it... We think the stock mufflers are baffled but they don't seem to add much restriction.maybe when we dyno we can test to see what loss they cause. They are way to quiet to be straight through.

....... Sorry for the major delays. I've been so busy for work I haven't had time to pull the Duals off to do the baseline dyno. Mike is supposed to call me tomorrow to figure out a new date.
