470 it looks like this started in 08, so you are probably right...

Thanks for pointing that out.
Did anyone ever get a one installed since then?

We have also just set up a date to start on the prototype part on design and have had very nice gains on the same engine (3.5l 4G TL) with the J-Pipe we just developed for the Base 4G TL. We will offer a design that enables will allow the end-user to opt for a 3rd cat elimination, or retain Hi-Flow Metal catalysts (at an additional cost of about $225).
As far as the concern with the 3rd cat delete version, I realize there is a concern with passing emissions. Our J-Pipes/Race Pipe setup with the 3G TL that eliminates the 3rd catalyst have had a lot of clients passing emission, although we never tested that here. We will go ahead and setup a stock 2G RL with the 3rd catalyst removed and our setup to have it checked at a smog center to see if it passes emissions.
Thanks!

The metal catalysts we use are 200-cell count. It's extremely free-flowing and you can literally feel a light breath flow through on the other end. I'm still fairly certain that it will pass emissions without issues with no catalysts in that section as the primary catalysts are extremely efficient, thus we will make sure it get emission tested so that you guys will know what your getting yourself into if you decide to go that route.

Alright guys minor setback today... On the way to work I went to pass someone on the freeway and when the transmission tried to drop into 3rd gear is just let go and bounced off the rev limiter for a second before I let off the gas. The "D" light flashed for about 30 seconds after the slip. Now every time it shifts into 3rd gear under 60% or more throttle the "D" light flashes once or twice on the dash. So I'm dropping the car off at the dealer today for them to take a look. I have replaced all 3 pressure switches and did a 3x3 ATF change. Worst case ill probably be replacing my transmission soon since I found one locally for $750 with 60k miles on it...
Either way though I will get it (limp it?) to the test fit session.

The dealer still cant figure it out... They have duplicated the issue but nothing comes up in the computer. They are going to talk to the "tech line" tomorrow to see what ideas they have. Either way I told them I have to take the car on Wednesday so I wont have any problem doing the test fitting.

It went very well... Michael at ATLP was awesome in setting the whole thing up. The prototype is about 1/2 way done and he took a bunch of pictures. If the true-dual setup does work out the way we are hoping, it will look and perform very nicely since the bends will be WAY smoother then stock. We will be planning a 2nd test fit/mock up session mid next week so its defiantly getting closer.

They are trying to make the true-dual setup work first and if they can wedge it in the small space provided then they will make the j-pipe using the template that's already made. They are hopefully going to have both models done close to the same time.

FINALLY! Progress! I am pleased at the progress even though my RL is gone. Let's get some more folks on the list so this can be officially made.

Sounds like things are moving along nicely. I'm still very much interested, just hoping here that the first batch won't have fitment problems like the one for the TL that had rubbing issues with the oil pan.
