Screeching noise when turning right
Screeching noise when turning right
This started a few weeks ago. No single event that I can think of that caused it. When turning right at low/medium/high speeds, I hear a high pitched screeching noise, kind of like metal on metal. Not as high a pitch as brake wear indicators, slightly lower pitch than those. Not very loud, sounds more like a mouse. It SEEMS like it's coming from the front right wheel area, louder if I open windows. Sometimes I also hear it driving straight and going over bumps. If I apply the brakes, the noise goes away. I looked around in the wheel wells, nothing obvious seems to be coming in contact with anything else. Brake pads have a decent amount left on them.
Any troubleshooting suggestions?
