P3400

So I got a p3400 code on my 13 RDX. I know it’s the oil pressure sensor for the cylinder shut off.... my question is because there’s some confusion from the research I’ve done.... is that the sensor by the firewall or by the dipstick?

Got this code on my '15 RDX the other day after leaving a gas station. The dash center said "check emission system", but my code reader showed "P3400 cylinder deactivation system bank 1". After clearing it the code came right back within a few miles. After the second clearing it hasn't returned.

Car was full of oil.

I called Honda and they said it was decently common. My car has 147K on the clock. They said they replace both oil pressure sensors and o-rings, so I ordered them off of Amazon for a big bad $62 and will replace them this weekend.

Just curious, can you provide the Amazon link for the sensors ordered?

Of course.

You'll need to buy 2 switches and 2 o-rings, they are identical front to back. And if you don't have a 24mm deep-well socket you'll need one of those as well.

Switch: P/N: 37240-R70-A04
O-Ring: P/N: 91319-PAA-A01

Switch link:
Amazon Amazon
O-Ring link:
Amazon Amazon

For whatever reason, Amazon says that it doesn't work for the '15 RDX, but it does, as it's the same part number for all years 13-18.
