hello, today I opened the trunk using the button on the drivers side inside the car, the trunk opened fine and then I got a message stating that the trunk may not open properly. since then the trunk will not open remotely or in any way using power. it will only open manually. I have been through the settings, disconnected the battery pole to reset. nothing seems to work, it's just really odd that it worked to open and then stopped, it never had any issues previous to today. if anyone has any solution I can try I would be very grateful

 

How old is your battery?

 

My car battery is 1 year old and my remote battery is a few months old.

 

Was everything working fine after you changed the battery to the one you have now?

 

Yes, no issues at all till yesterday

 

That's odd. I know that when the voltage is funky it can make the computer think there's not enough power to operate the liftgate...
