Headlight issues

2014 RDX with 367K miles. Lately I have been having issues with my halogen headlights. The bulbs keep burning out. Low beam and high beam. Not all of them at the same time. I use Sylvania Silverstar Ultra bulbs. The high beams are bright and no issues if they are not burnt out. The low beams are dim and they seem to point so low to the point of not being useful. In my garage, the DRL look brigther than low beams projecting on to a wall. I had to replace one bulb cover (33127-TX4-A11) of a headlight (low beam) that is 2 years old, because of what seemed to be a short that burnt out the wire. The other headlight I have had since I bought the car in 2013 is very foggy and things (don't know how to describe but they are parts of the headlight assembly for low beam) move inside it as I try to install a low beam bulb. Seems like something is broken. I am open to replacing the old headlight assembly. Do I need to remove the front bumper to replace the headlight assembly? I did not find a youtube video for 2nd generation RDX. I am going to keep this car for a while longer. So I have to fix it. Thanks.

The bumper is very easy to remove on this car.

The main thing is to make sure that you use LED bulb in the new headlights.

Is there a separate headlight assembly for LED bulbs or can I use existing halogen headlight assembly (with one new one) and just swap out bulbs without modifications to the headlight assembly?
Thanks.

This is a regular Halogen headlights, you just install LED bulbs instead of Halogens

Assuming your car is 10 years old, that's about an average of 705 mile per week or 100 miles per day, lots of miles.

You put to bed negativity of some folks about how long RDX will last. It would be nice to learn what have you done to car, maintenace and repairwise, over 367K miles. Care to entertain us?

And if nine years old simple math, the miles per day increases. Clearly lots of highway miles and I too would like to hear about your maintenance practices.

I did nothing special. I did not even do my own oil changes, filter replacements and sparkplug replacements till 2 years ago. Everything was done through the various stealerships.
All maintenance on time. I did have issues with alternator which resulted in 3 replacements.
I had a front wheel bearing replaced. Front suspension replaced. Oil pan leak fixed.
Many light bulbs replaced.
Miles are mostly highway. Drove coast to coast many times. Because I hate flying.

100% agree there. Much more enjoyable to drive and be able to actually bring a full bottle of shampoo for a human being lmao.

I see you have a Dodge RAM.
Can you tell me why 99% of 4x4 drivers ride my ass even if I am on the right most lane doing speed limit?
Not saying you do it. Considering I drove all these miles, I have come across thousands of 4x4s. Why do they do that?

I haven't had my Ram since like 2019 when I sold it lol. What you're experiencing could be just be people going from the passing and/or travel lane to the exit lane you are in and needing to slow down behind you. I only travel in the middle lane if not passing or exiting.
