Headlight high beam issue

One of my headlights (passenger side) to be exact is stuck on "high beam" all the time. I've seen a few threads where people have had the same issues but no one ever posted back that they fixed it. If I physically hit my headlight the beam will lower down to about where it should be, but as soon as I hit the high beam switch it goes back into the sky until I'd hit my headlight again. If I pulled the shutter back with a pick, would it fix the problem altogether or is there something I'd have to replace? Like a solenoid, etc. Thanks guys! This is really annoying, especially getting bright lighted all the time.

I have extra solenoid or wire if you determine them to be the culprit

If it's the solenoid, you'll have to bake open your headlight to replace it though, not sure if you are up to the task. Test per polobunny's guide and report back.
