Driver 1 - Driver 2

It's my understanding that the Advance comes with two remotes, one "regular" and one with remote start feature. For those who know, which of the two is designated "Driver 1."

If you mean the TLX with remote start, this issue is carried in another thread: https://acurazine.com/forums/fifth-g...y-fobs-916211/

In the USA, with the Advance Package you get a Driver 1 fob with remote start, a driver 1 fob WITHOUT remote start, and can order a Diver 2 fob ( 72147-TZ3-A61
FOB ASSY., ENTRY KEY (DRIVER 2) that can be purchased separately for those with the Advance Package $136.97). In Canada (2) full functions are delivered with the package as a standard feature.

On my '16 Advanced, Driver 1 has remote start and Driver 2 does not.

The part # I was given resulted in a "Driver 1" with remote start for my incoming advance. So, I will have two of the driver 1 with remote. Can the extra be programmed as a driver 2?

In Canada you get two key fobs that are identical (both have remote start).

I'm guessing they are labeled #1 and #2 (drivers), so not identical. Correct?

Well --- according to the dealer a "Driver 1" fob is all you can get from Acura parts for the RDX. I wonder if the driver 2 memory function will work given that there will not be a driver 2 approaching the car.
