mainly upshifting between 2nd and 4th gear it doesnt feel smooth in SS mode. i dont know if maybe something is wedged down there or is their something i can try and spray down there to make it smoother. its not a huge problem to me, i was just wondering if their was anything i can do or has anyone else had this problem?

its smoother in SS for me, when i leave it in D5 its less smooth the car sucks @ shifting itself

edit: my bad i thought u meant the actual feel of the car, but u mean the actual shifter knobb doesnt feel smooth... u prob got some donut crumbs down there, clean em up

i had that same problem for a while too before my tranny blew. did you ever take your car to the dealer for the tranny recall???

are you talking about the lever of the actual shift?

Its pretty obvious he's saying that physically moving the shift lever up and down, or from + & -, isn't as smooth as before.

You can remove the shift gate and spray some WD-40 on the actual lever base. Put it in SS while keeping your foot on the brake and move the lever up and down while you spray. Something sticky may have gotten in there.

Never had this problem, and I use SS mode 98% of the time. Like CleanB said, the car sucks at shifting itself.

yes i am talking about actually moving the shifter up and down. i will try that tonight with the spray. im going in for the recall on tuesday as well.
