Help with 5AT
Help with 5AT
When I shift to D5, regardless of whether the car is warm or cold, I have to wait a few seconds for the gear to engage before accelerating. If I step on the gas too soon, the car lunges and feels as though the tranny is slipping. Any thoughts? Thanks, all.
It takes at most 1 second for my gears to engage after coming out of reverse. It did the same thing on my 92 Legend. It feels normal, although I'd say a few seconds, like 3, isn't normal. Just my .02 cents

it takes like half a second for me.... waiting a few seconds seems like there's something wrong with the tranny. JMO
