Hes running an aftermarket intake. The humming noise is just the air being sucked into the filter at low rpms. Its perfectly normal.

False. I have an AEM V2 CAI and it hums VERY loud! I didn't like the hum at first, but I got used to it. The CAI sounds really good though when I am driving

I like part pics because they help build-up the suspense for the install

There's a box looking thing on the bottom of the intake tube going into the throttle body. This is a resonator & without it the intake will hum loudly.

+1 to both answers. I had some pretty noisy humming and I have the resonator removed but after I pressed around the top of the airbox, the humming went away so I tightened the airbox some more and fixed it.
