Exclamation One more.... VSA, /!\ , ABS Lights On CL

Back from my mechanic today, I have these three lights on:
VSA
/!\
ABS

This is the work he did:
- Replaced Timing Belts
- Replaced Lower Ball Joints
- Replaced cross threaded bolt on wheel
- Oil Change
- Spark plugs

Something he did in the work above now has my lights on. How do I reset them?

I just got back from the shop and I did not get a computer reading. If the only variables from perfectly working to 3 lights on is the work above... do I need one?

Your mechanic busted Abs sensor/sensors. 100%. Just check them using multimeter. Disconnect orange plugs under hood - near suspension towers and check the resistance you should have couple of ohms normally if open = busted.

Sht.... I think you might be right. Will all the lights turn on in that case?

Do you have a link where I can check the diagrams?

If it pops up after you start driving it may be phisical damage to sensors located @ rear part of knuckle by CV joint - about 3 inches from ball joints

It will trigger all these lights as abs and sensors are part of vsa you get all 3! Do not have links for schematics but you do not need it, check sensor resistnce first

I believe this might be the case. The 3 lights stay on. No jumping on or any of that... just stay on.

GEezuz.. what do you suggest I do? Where can I get these ABS sensors? Are there aftermarket? I'm psssd right now!

these aint so expensive about $40 @ acuraoemparts.com. Just locate which one you need as these are diferent for both sides. also sensor wire might have get pinched an cut - go along it down to sensors - check for cut or stretch especially in places where they are clean or greasy - indcation of the area where your mechanic was playing with.

Thanks a lot man, do you know the part numbers? I think I will have him re-do it, this time I will supervise...

Well... he replaced the ABS on the right, but the lights are still on because he can't reset the lights? Does that sound logical?

When I went to turn the car on before the fix, while stepping on the brake the VSA flashed as the brake pedal vibrated. It was like as if something was trying to self adjust?
Does anyone know what that means?

Abs gets self tested every time you turn the key, no need to reset anything. Vsa sometimes may stay on and require reset. Is the abs indicator still on? If it is not, try manually resetting vsa, by cycling key on for 1 sec to pos II and 1 sec off - 3 times. ... and it looks like you had abs problem before you went to your mechanic, that "self adjustment" was just abs triggering on because of sensor misread. You would have check abs codes to pinpoint it, I still think it is faulty sensor or stretched wire ... but it might be sth else

All - ABS, /!\, VSA lights are still on. When the mechanic showed me an ABS cable (?) that he replaced, it looked like "hairy copper", not sure what was the deal with that. How can I test the sensor manually without my mechanic?

Auto Technician not mechanic (we do have to know computers nowadays and in essence sometimes reverse engineer things in order to figure out what is wrong with it

OK finally ran the diagnostics machine and got the following error codes:

Front and read passenger ABS errors. I think it was something like 11 and 83?

Auto technician sounds even worse, whenever I talk to someone that calls himself "auto technician" - guy is playing smart asss , just to make it look more complicated, but actually .... he has been practicing as a mechanic for 6 months ...Today hamburger flipper calls himself a "Professional grill operator" but that is just terminology and political correctness. , sorry I am just to long in bussines. ... and we are talking about ABS here - this is not rocket sicience, ABS was invented over 25 years ago, and it works exactly the same these days - with some cantroller changes and additions like stabilsation systems .

Three months later... I took it to Steve (thanks Nauman) and he ran the computer, got the front left ABS code - we checked it out and saw the ABS sensor cable peeled, naturally it was shorted. So that is what has my dash looking like a freaking Xmas tree.... You guys were right on, thanks...
