Heated Seat

Hey everyone. I have a problem with my passenger heated seat on my '03 cls6. the orange light comes on but the seat never gets hot. Anyone else have this problem? I hope it is not the heater. Thanks!

Had the same issue. I think it was a blown fuse. Mine was still covered under warranty so the dealer replaced it for free

How long did you have it on?

Mine takes a while to warm up...don't know if that means there is something wrong with it.

seat heater

Very common issue. 9 times out 10 its the actual seat heater element itself. I have replaced more than is can count. It involves removing the seat, the seat cover and replacing the element.

I think the lower back on the driver's side does. I can usually feel it after a while when it warms through my clothes. Usually it's easier to feel the butt/thigh portion since I'm only wearing jeans.

Sorry to bring this back from the dead. But my car is having the same problem and I'd like to fix it now while I have the money before it starts getting cold again.

I've checked the fuse and it's good so from this thread I'm assuming it's the heating element?

Is it Illustration #12 at the following link? If not what is it?

http://www.acuraoemparts.com/delray/...All&vinsrch=no

Also, where would be the best place to buy one of these, would you trust one from a junkyard?

I've never taken the seat out before either, is it pretty easy to do and install the new one or is there a DIY?

Thanks for the help.

another heated seat question, and figured I'd post it in here...

My orange led/light on the heated seat switches don't light up....the heated seats work fine, however I've never seen the orange indicator light up...

any ideas? its a 6 speed, so they are one setting, and next to the e brake...

The lower back and booty should be heated on both passenger and driver's side

Back and bottom for the driver, bottom only for the passenger.
