so i just bought this car about three days ago. im 16 and its my first car. 1997 acura 2.2cl 5 speed. and im having some problems. sometimes, it shifts fine, but other times, i cant seem to get into gear. as if im not pushing in the clutch. and i have to turn off the car, put it in gear, and turn it back on. im really new to manual transmissions and i dont know what to do. it sometimes wont let me get to gear when im going down the street as well. what should i do about this?

 

Get somebody expirienced with manual transmission driving check it out for you and have him precisely describe the problem if any, from your description I cant help you sorry.BTW you are posting in 2nd gen .... and welcome to Azine forum
