CORYACG white cls6 build thread
Hey acurazine! I normally don't make build threads to keep away from over exposure and (for a lack of a better word) "trolls" that usually infect most forums. You all seem cool so I figured I'd give it a go.
For starters I have a white cls 6 speed with nav and is also equipped with the complete comptech line from the factory. Including
Comptech supercharger and icebox
Comptech headers and j pipe
Comptech exhaust
Comptech sway bars
Comptech "titanium" strut bar
Comptech fuel pump and fmu
Also installed from the factory
Spc camber kit
Koni yellow struts with tein springs
Lightened flywheel and clutch
17x9 nsx wheels at all four corners
This is when I bought it
The car had some miles on it when I got it and the suspension wasn't in the best of shape so I installed a set of tein coilovers
I also picked up a set of wheels, took a little bit of work to get them to fit, they're on the car now but I don't have any good pictures so I will post them soon but until then
Work VS-KF
18x9 +59 225/40
18x10.5 +36 245/40
I plan to get the front rebarreled I've only owned the car for a month so bare with me lol
Hopefully I'll have some better pictures up before long but like I said I've only had the car for a month so check back soon!!

Lol I wish I had it like that, it was actually installed by comptech at the factory. Car and driver did a article on it in June 2003

Damn that's a nice pick up except the tl wheels if you don't mind how much did you get the car for with all those parts and what's the mileage. Gotta love driving the car with all those aftermarket parts already installed

Yea the nsx wheels had bald tires so I put the tl wheels on it to beat around on for a couple weeks until I got some new wheels. I picked it up for 9 with 150k on it. The car is a blast

Every body has their own taste, some people like authentic wheels that you don't see on every third car riding down the street and some people prefer trendy knockoffs. But to each their own, thanks for the compliment

tein springs and koni struts are not coilovers. coilovers enable you to adjust the height by the mm.
i dont know if its cus im used to seeing lower profile tires or what, but they look like donuts around the wheel and the fender gap enhances it. when its time for new tires id go lower profile and slam it. i ran 205/40s on 18x9 with no problems

i dont think he was saying he doesnt like authentic forged, 3pc, made in japan, etc wheels, i think he was saying those specific wheels arent his favorite. i see what hes saying, at least for the CL, i think we all love work wheels but i would have chosen a different model. those look best on big body VIP style cars IMO.

I think the wheels look good and I like five spoke wheels. The offset on the from us a little high but they look good. All that matters is your happy with the way the car sits.

Thanks man, these were s2k fitment so I had to run spacers on the front, I'm gonna rebarrel them once I'm done with my project car

Thanks for the input, if u look at the whole post youd see that the suspension you're referring to was what came stock on the car and that I bought tein coilovers that are in that big ass tein box, since its supercharged I wanted a wider tread path which is why I went with a 225.
i understand about wanting a wider tire for extra grip. im envious of all your under the hood mods
