Thanks all, and the hood lift, as I hope all of us know, allows the hood to fit with the mdx spacer. I'm not to sure about cutting the hood yet, trying to avoid that.
An 09 manifold may be in the future so calm down over a 3/4" lifted hood and enjoy the rest of the car.

There not that streched, 235's on a 9.5".
Its not like running 215's on wide wheels for "looks" I prefer a little traction and sidewall for handling.
There is no kit, the front lip is a fiberglass version of "home depot lip" I made, I'm planing on making something along the lines of a RJ lip but not as low. I have a 6th gen accord coupe oem kit im gonna play with to make a more rounded kit unlike the razor edge tl kit.

Like the new stance.
You need to get the hood closed.
might be a bennefit to keep under hood temps down.
But on rainy days it must suck worrying about getting electrical componets wet.
I'm sure you are getting un needed wind noises from it too.
If it was a garaged strip car the hood is ok.
For a daily car it makes the car look damaged to those who don't know why it's like that.
And that is never cool.
You car does look nice, make it look nice.
Get the hood shut.

Hood is staying open unless I do the 09 mani next year, it does help with temps in summer, doesn't see the rainy days at all (have 2 DD's). I cant tell any difference with wind noise. It is garage kept and to be 110% honest if someone thinks its broken/damaged then they don't know anything about cars/modifications and I'm not gonna be concerned with what they think.
And yes I do race it often at the drag strip close to my house, so I guess you could consider it a "garaged strip car"
The fenders ,no wait the rear isn't a fender its a quarter panel. Anyway ,I'm not 100% happy with them but its a 12 year old car worth 6000 KBB so not gonna dump tons of cash into it making it flawless for other peoples pleasure. And I will repaint the car some other color next year and have the fenders flushed and smooth with the kit I'm working on.
Sorry for the rant, and not trying to be a dick or anything but every single thing on this car including mounting the tires was done by myself in my free time I don't waste money paying shops to do the work, I'm a die hard grassroots mechanic that enjoys positive comments about my work.
And it just gets me when people point out little things.
If this was a 2011 SH-AWD yes then all would be justified with the dislikes, but to each his own...I guess I'm just too much function over form in some aspects.
I have to honestly say that this is the reason I hardly ever post anything. I will think twice about it in future..
( let the ensue)

I wouldn't stop posting just cause a few comments. No matter what anyone posts on here there is ALWAYS going to be someone who likes it and someone else who dislikes it. It's just a forum where people are going to express their opinions (sometimes whether you want them or not).
I think it's a good thing that people keep posting what they are doing ESPECIALLY things that are different! It would not be as good if everyone did the exact same thing as everyone else.

Whats up with RDX owners?

Man, I hate that hood.
Do you. Who cares what others think? There are some things on my car that people dont like, but its my car. I dont care.
I do like the design of that front lip. When you build your lip kit, do you plan on incorporating that design or doing something else? If it follows that design and is subtle, I would be interested in it if you were to make another.

I'm all for constructive criticism but when people start trying to tell you what to do with your car and using adjectives that aren't necessary is when the 'forum' breakdown begins.
Nice ride, not too over the top, keep the pics coming

SO true. I'm sure non car-enthusiats see cars missing a headlight when a CAI is there in its place and think the car is dilapidated when it's actually very functional. But who cares, you can't please everyone. I've seen plenty of Mustangs with hoods like that.

And If I redo the front lip and make it out of urethane in the future I will just give you the FRP one if you want it. I have though about mas-producing them , 2 a week or so, there easy to do and would be about $90-110 a piece. I could be sitting on a gold mine, lol

^^^that is a great pic...
I was on the fence about the mdx spacer myself. The look isn't for me...I mean, you tell me it'll add 100 hp, fkn a right I'll deal with the look, but overall, I was satisfied with just the thermal spacer etc. Overall though, the car looks killer...nice.
